Rubber mastic tape R2228 is a conformable self-fusing rubber electrical insulating and sealing tape, R2228 consists of Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) backing coated with a strong, temperature stable mastic adhesive.
Application:
• Designed for applications to seal and protect joints of communication
stations.
• Provide reliable waterproof and insulation protection for mine, oil field
and chemical plant where the fire can not be used.
• Sealing and protecting for net and braids.
• Waterproof and insulation protecting for city light cable joints.
Features:
• Self melt character make it easy to pull and wrap around on the articles
and provide excellent sealing properties.
• Double layer, made from elasticity insulation materials and waterproof
mastic.
Use:
• Clean and keep the cable connector clear.
• Shuck off the isolation paper and prolong the tape 100%.
• Wrap around on the articles by 1/2 join
• Extrusion the tape to make it stick well
• In order to avoid abrasion, use the PVC tape to cover it outside
